JENNA MARONEY'S BACK STORY

Jenna roomed with Liz Lemon at Northwestern University. After graduation, they created "The Girlie Show" as part of the Second City theater group. NBC picked up the show and it ran for several years before Jack Donaghy became vice president and added Tracy Jordan to the cast, much to Jenna's disappointment.

In addition to her TGS work, Jenna has also appeared in several movies, other television shows and on stage. She starred in The Rural Juror, a film based on a novel by Kevin Grisham. She also appeared in stage versions of Mystic Pizza and Con Air. She won a CableAce award for her appearance on Arliss. She is an overseas pop star (her single "Muffin Top" hit #1 in Israel and #4 in Belgium.
