EPISODE SYNOPSIS
When Don decides to promote Jack and make him his successor over Devon, Jack decides to give his old job to Liz because she always has his back. However, a turn of events concerning Don's health compromises Jack's promotion. Meanwhile, Tracy thinks that his son is embarrassed of his career because he did not invite him to fathers day at school.

BEST SCENES AND MOMENTS
  • Jack bawls when Don tells him that he's the new CEO of G.E.
  • Frank downloads a virus, losing all the work the writers had done overnight. Liz blames Frank, Frank and the writers blame Liz because it's her show, and if it wasn't for her, they wouldn't be here.
  • Tracy, distraught that his son was too embarrassed to bring him to "Bring Your Dad to School Day", proceeds to dance around shirtless in the middle of the classroom crying and dancing around. "If I'm such a bad Dad, why are we all dancing?" No one else is dancing.
  • Liz blames Jorgenson for Don's diabetic coma (though she is, in fact, to blame), and he simply says "Fair enough."
  • Dr. Spaceman doesn't know whether you dial 411 or 911 for emergencies. He dials 411 and asks for diabetes repair.

EPISODE TRIVIA
  • Tracy's storyline is a parody of the 1984 film, Amadeus, which chronicled the relationship between Mozart and Salieri. Tracy represents Mozart's prodigal character, while Frank represents Salieri's jealous character.
  • The last five minutes are a play on the Stanley Kubrick movie, Eyes Wide Shut.
  • Though credited, Jane Krakowski, Katrina Bowden, Lonny Ross, and Keith Powell do not appear in this episode.
